Treasure Hunting
When was the last time you had a real treasure hunting adventure? We will do some of this every trip.
Here are your choices.
Panning for gold in the stream[
We have a flowing stream that you may just discover all sorts of precious metals, then again you may just spend a day playing in the water.
Using a Metal Detector - We have one and so far we have found 1 quarter, 2 dimes, a penny and a brass shell and several bottle caps.
GeoCaching
It is described as using state of the art technology of multiple orbiting satellites to find Tupperware in the forest.

We just watched a program about those mountains and how some of the residents search for Gold, Rubies and saphires in those hills. I want to check out that waterfall for some treasure. I will keep my eye out for blue and purple sand. (indications of garnet and ruby potential). One stone can be worth thousands.
That is a REAL Treasure hunt. I would also use the metal detector at the bottom of that falls too in case some nugget fell.
Anyone want to join me?
